
Sticky BBQ Chicken Wings
Who doesn't love chicken wings? Quick and easy to make and your guests will love them 🙂
Equipment
- Frying Pan
- Kitchen Shears or a Grunter Knife (I find the Grunter works easier)
Ingredients
- 1 kg Chicken Wings
- 4 tbsp Cape Herb Sweet and Sticky Chicken Spice
- NGOB Sticky Chicken Basting
- Little olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut the chicken wings into three separate pieces using the kitchen shears
- Set the wing tip aside (these can be kept to use when making stock)
- Place the drumette and wingettes in a bowl.
- Season with Cape Herb Sweet & Sticky Chicken Spice and let it stand for 30 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken wings over medium heat until done.
- Remove all of the oil from the pan.
- Pour Nou Gaan Ons Braai Sticky Chicken Basting over the chicken wings.
- Simmer over medium heat stirring constantly to coat the chicken wings and to make sure that the chicken basting does not burn.
- Simmer until the sauce has almost crystallised.
- Serve hot
